The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Andrew Crose, DOB 09/21/92, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.
Crose was convicted of Use of the Internet to Lure a Child for Sex in 2016 in Sarasota County. He was also charged in 2014 with two counts of Attempted Child Abuse. In 2016, Crose was sentenced to four years in prison for all three crimes. He was just released from prison and reports his address is 540 LaGorce Drive in Venice. Crose is currently under the supervision of the Department of Corrections and is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, park or playground.
This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
