The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is advising the public that Brian Robins, DOB 12/17/76, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.
Robins was convicted on two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child in 2000 in Utah. He just moved to Sarasota County and reports his address will be 468 Ingres Drive in Nokomis. Robins in not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, and because he was convicted out of state prior to 2004, residency restrictions do not apply.
This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sex offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county, or following a release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offender and predator registrations.
