The Sarasota County Sheriff's office arrested a Venice man who repeatedly sold heroin, cocaine and cannabis to undercover detectives over the past several weeks.

Jeremy Bettis, DOB 11/21/81, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in the 6600 block of Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, after selling heroin to an undercover detective in a convenience store parking lot. A search warrant conducted on his vehicle revealed nearly 15 grams combined of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis, and prescription pills.

Bettis is behind bars today on three counts of Sale of Rock Cocaine, Sale of Heroin and Sale of Cannabis. He also faces Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Alprazolam and Possession of Cannabis under 20 grams. He is currently being held on $63,500 bond.
