Control Room Specialist

Duties

Perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, Data entry of daily activities, monitor deputy and inmate movement, maintain security equipment and key inventories, and maintaining an accurate count of inmates housed on the floor.  Responsible for inmate activities that include medication schedule, physician visits, exercise, court dates, attorneys and visits.     

Starting Salary

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment required to perform the position tasks.

• Efficient in time management skills relating to daily work activities, tasks, and special assignments.

• Ability to work shifts which will include evening, week-end and holidays.

• Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, demonstrating an awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
