A Budget Message from Sheriff
William F. Balkwill
 I would like to thank
everyone for your patience concerning the significant revenue challenges
facing all of us during this financial year. In an effort to meet the
difficult challenges presented to us as a result of the passage of
Amendment 1 on 1/29/08 and the current economic downturn, the County
Commissioners have requested that we cut our current budget by 1.8
million dollars. We have also been requested to reduce our overall
budget for fiscal year 2008-2009.
