Lucinda McClean was reported missing on Oct. 23,1989. She was last seen on Aug. 24, 1989, outside the Animal Clinic Bar at Swift Road, near Clark Road in Sarasota.

Lucinda's body was discovered in a drainage ditch along Fruitville, east of Interstate 75, in Sarasota on Sept. 12, 1989. She lived in the 1700 block of Oak Street in Sarasota and her maiden name was Lucinda Hurrelbrinck.

Lucinda had been separated from her husband at the time of her death and frequently visited several bars in the Sarasota area, including the Animal Clinic, the 5 O'Clock Club, the Clubhouse Lounge and the Press Box. Lucinda was known to associate with "biker" types.
